Pro Arte Series 101 Prolene Round Brushes

As Pro Arte’s first development in synthetic hair, Prolene was created as a substitute to delicate natural hairs making it the perfect brush for watercolour, gouache and watered down acrylic paints. The soft hairs mimic natural properties as they can absorb large amounts of colour while still pulling to a sharp and responsive point.

The round brush shape is great for thin lines, fine details and even broader strokes when more pressure is applied. The larger sizes are able to paint background washes and wet on wet techniques.
